Partnering is about exchanging Information with one another ...

It can be difficult to even obtain information from Microsoft
but it must be said for Partners, Customers & Investors of Microsoft:

• not realistic to expect Microsoft to buy IP from you
• or subcontract to them etc ...

If you want to focus on working with Microsoft (or another global company) perhaps exchanging information with one another is the first step!

I guess main lesson don't expect the world from Microsoft or for them to buy anything from you if you are not communicating with them! 

In this case you need to work on what you are doing first before you head back to Microsoft!
