No point being naïve – Australia needs to go nuclear at some stage
- Australia has large Uranium Reserves
- Australia can arrange for (safe) transportation & storage of Nuclear Waste
- Indigenous Communities to store Nuclear Waste
- And a Nuclear armed Forces (but no Nuclear warheads) ! also see
The deserts of Australia are also insulated from natural disasters, earthquakes, cyclones etc ... hence Nuclear Power plants selling power back to the grid to the Eastern states would have very little risk of radioactive fallout.
Which means exporting more LNG and clean coal to Asia!
