To give you an example;

The problem:

• Whole bunch of DVDs, books and papers

The solution:

1. Scan papers
2. Obtain books and DVDs via Internet distribution and return the money from selling original books & DVDs (as Internet copies are ‘cheaper’ than originals)

The benefits:

1. Use up less space
2. Once you have digital copies you can throw out redundant related paperwork
3. Use folders, plastic sleeves for something else
